Problem:

David called into The Basement Doctor because he had a noticeable water issue going on in his home. David saw that he had water and mud coming into his home where the wall and floor meet. He hadn’t noticed any cracks, so he was unsure of its entry location. David stated he owned the home for 10 years and had never noticed mud coming in with water. Being concerned, David scheduled a free consultation with The Basement Doctor to find a solution.

Solution:

The Basement Doctor sent project manager Wes Martin out to David’s home for an assessment. Wes is a seasoned project manager who has been assisting homeowners in central Ohio for over 20 years. Wes had a clear objective to locate the problem and prescribe a solution. After a thorough assessment, Wes noticed the water infiltration along the wall and suggested waterproofing and drywall. The waterproofing would help seal the area from infiltration by draining water away from the home. Drywall would simply be installed to restore any damage inflicted upon the wall due to the incoming water and mud. After discussing the options, David agreed to move forward with The Basement Doctor as his contractor. The Basement Doctor crew was on the job to ensure the installation was successful.
