Project Description

Problem:

Mary called in to The Basement Doctor regarding her crawl space. Mary stated that she was seeing water where the wall and concrete meet. It was Mary’s belief that the water was coming in from the outside. Mary stated that the crawl space needed to be sealed. The crawl space entry itself was about 4ft high. Mary was unsure of how long the seepage had been going on. She was preparing to sell the home, so this was certainly an urgent matter. Mary scheduled a free consultation with The Basement Doctor to find a solution for her crawl space needs.

Solution:

The Basement Doctor sent project manager Jarrod McDonald out to assess the crawl space. Jarrod has great experience assisting homeowners throughout the central Ohio area. With the situation at hand, Jarrod had an obvious objective: to find the problem and suggest a solution. After a thorough assessment, Jarrod suggested a 12 ft. perimeter drain. A perimeter drain in this case, would alter the direction of the water from the house back outside where it belongs. After discussing this option with Mary, she agreed to hire The Basement Doctor as her contractor. The Basement Doctor crew was on the job to ensure the installation was successful. Mary was given the peace of mind that she needed. Trust was earned, and the goal of customer satisfaction was achieved.
