Problem:

Anne called into the Basement Doctor because she wanted to address some concerns with her foundation. Anne was concerned because she noticed cracking and crumbling around her poured wall where the support beam rests. It is very important to address foundation problems early because with time, the foundation would continue to deteriorate and cause even more costly damage to the home. Anne needed a quick resolution, so she scheduled a free consultation so that we could provide her with a permanent solution for the problem.

Solution:

The Basement Doctor sent project manager Jarrod McDonald out for an assessment. Jarrod is a certified professional and a well-seasoned project manager. The objective here was to properly diagnose the issue. To address the cracking and crumbling around the beam, Jarrod suggested a PowerPost stabilizer beam to take the weight off of the foundation in this area. After discussions with the homeowners, an agreement was reached to begin installation. The Basement Doctor crew was on hand to ensure a successful job. The homeowners were left satisfied knowing that their home’s foundation was now stable and restored.
